We are pleased to send you the official invitation to “Spiagge d’Abruzzo Cup”, that is among the most important youth tournaments in Italy.
The International Tournament "Spiagge d’Abruzzo Cup", reserved exclusively for youth team categories, since the first tournament in 1997, with the name " City of Roseto Cup " has had a remarkable success.
Some important factors have contributed to it:
The friendly and not competitive nature of the tournament.
The possibility to stay in one of the most beautiful places in the Adriatic coast.
The low cost of the staying provided by our organization.
During latest edition approximately 3000 young players and 100 teams took part; some of them came from foreign countries: Finland, Latvia, England, Poland, Romania, Belgium, Guatemala, Holland etc.
The other teams came from all regions of Italy.
Categories are:
• "Giovanissimi" boys born after 01/01/1997 who are 12 years old, 11 players
• "Esordienti ‘99" boys born after 01/01/1999 who are 10 years old,11 players
• “Esordienti ‘00”boys born after 01/01/2000 who are 10 years old, 7 players(*)
• "Pulcini"- boys born after 01/01/2001 who are 8 years old, 6 players(*)
(*)The games for the "Pulcini" and “Esordienti 00” category will be played on a small pitch with teams of 6 and 7 players.
The tournament will take place in Roseto degli Abruzzi Giulianova, Pineto and Silvi, tourist resorts along the Adriatic coast, from 27th April to 1st May 2012. We are 2 hours driving from Rome, 3 from Naples and 4 from Florence, and we can propose trips before or after the tournament.
The tournament will be regulated by F.I.G.C. - U.E.F.A. and F.I.F.A. all participants will have to be registered with their football association.
Natural and synthetic grass pitches will be used.
